We don't own/run that big of a pump or I would recomend the Pond Master submersible............... but I believe it was Jerry who had a thread concerning pumps. I can't recall the name/brand of the pump that the thread agreed upon but I'm sure he will pipe in and give you his expierience with buying and using pumps. (not the style of shoes)  :D

I had a bad time with cal Pump. They were close and i got a good deal HA!  It ran sporadically.
Gave me fits. The filter was impossible too.  gee, I hate blasting these folks, they treated me well when id go see them, but those are that facts Ma'am.
I NOW have a Sequence Pump from Gene at Koi Village  (they are readily available elsewhere too)
I have a Skippy" filter, guess what?   Problem free!  Oh I did have to clean gunk out of the pump after almost 3 years
