Joyce get real. You don't think I was serious about Stevie Wonder, did you? When I considered myself, I decided a real young "looker" certainly wouldn't look my way more than once, I decided to pick someone who couldn't see. Guess that wasn't funny after all. But I really don't know who Johnny Depp is because I don't follow movies much at all. Besides he would be way too young for me. I'd never be able to keep up with him. HMMM, I'm still thinking.

OK I think I have one, McDreamy from Gray's Anatomy. Yes I know he's waaaay younger than me but you said I had to choose.

Now I won't be able to get to sleep for thinking of good looking guys.

So isn't it odd with the written word? There's times we type something we think sounds funny and it comes off as not. And then there's times we mean something some way and it get taken different than we mean it to.

Over the years we have coped with a couple of grandparents who were hard of hearing and wouldn't use hearing aides. I had a really nice baby's breath hanging plant in the living room. The family was making all these comments about all the BUDS on it. Grandma was joining in and then we realize she thinks we are talking about BUGS and has been making, what seemed like, appropriate comments in the conversation. She asked me why I couldn't spray it to get rid of them. We about died laughing when we realized we had been going down two different paths that day.

LOL!!!!!! I was laughing the whole time I was reading your response. I knew why you picked Stevie Wonder! Like Joyce said, this is all in fun and I was laughing at you and the others. I have never found Johnny Depp good looking, well maybe when he was on 21 Jump Street, but he is too grungy looking for me. I don't know who I would pick as far as a movie star goes. I know....I think Josh Lucas is really hot! He was the husband on Sweet Home Alabama. He reminded me a lot of my husband in that movie.

Thanks for the compliment Joyce, she was 18 at the time the photo was taken. It was from a newspaper article announcing her betrothal (to me) I was 21. We are still going strong.

She can't take the sun and does not swim, so she is not the best choice for that desert island.

You all can have Johnny Depp, Willy Wonka killed him for me. That was just so creepy. I don't want Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt on my boat either.

I'll take George Clooney or Jon Bon Jovi or Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy, Esther)

I would not kick Robert Redford or Sean Connery off the boat although they are a tad old for me, Paul Newman is another very good looking man who has aged very well.

Orlando Bloom is too young but I wouldn't kick him off the boat either.

Salma Hayek is one of the most beautiful women alive. Beyonce is too. Both are real women with real curves who aren't emaciated.

Esther, my hair is coming in fine, almost 2" now.
Same as it ever was, no change in color, curl or texture.
And just as full.
Wont be ready for a cut for a LOOOOOONG time though.
