Dicentra spectabilis 'Gold Heart' and one of the PJM Rhododendrons, not sure which one. Taken last month.

Oh, what a cheery, colouful spot. Don't think I've seen shots of your garden before - let's have some more!

Cheers,

Here are some more. I find I mostly have close ups of flowers rather than wide angle shots of the yard. I hate the vehicles, garbage cans, ugly neighboring yards, telephone poles etc. in the photos. Which is why I love pics like Karen's where you can't see anything but her pond and gardens and then a row of trees in the background.

Front yard along neighbor's boxwood hedge. One of the PJM Rhodies, ferns, Huecheras, assorted bulbs taken in March

Same bed, to the left of the previous photo. Spirea 'Lime Mound', Azalea 'Herbert' assorted bulbs and Heucheras taken in March

Along back fence, Hyacinth 'City of Haarlem' , Japanese Maple, Columbine doesn't show but the center is creamy like the Hyacinth, the forget me nots get ripped out when they are in my way, they reseed everywhere, every year.

Along back fence, next to main pond, taken this week, Ajuga and Cornus kousa dogwood and Hellebores.

Just gorgeous LeeAnne.

Chuckling at the bit about the ugly stuff that gets in photos. No matter how recently I have cleaned up an area, there are, at a minimun, always tools, hoses, or leaf bins some scattered around. Wonder why they don't show throught the lens?

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks!

I don't know. I could have placed the cap to the yard light back on if I had realized it was off. ;) however, it didn't happen and that is the way it is more often than not.

Very nice. We have a lot of the same plants and my border is about the same width as yours, but yours looks more artistic than mine. Although parts of mine are starting to look respectable after years of tinkering.

So colorful, everything looks fantastic.  I think I can almost smell the sweet aroma through my monitor.  Thanks for sharing.
