The Garden today

This one is a coffee tree from Kona beans.
the flower looks like plastic, it's not.  It is an Orchid cactus   Sure looks like a water lilly.
We are picking cukes & tomatoes.  The earliest ever for me.

I see the fetching Mrs. Jerry soon having a tea or coffee social with cucumber finger sandwiches.  I actually like cucumber sandwiches......

I haven't planted cucumber or tomatoes yet...it FROSTED yesterday morning!!!!

Frost?  It's almost June.  We Californians are softees.  We would never survive.
Besides, we like to see the air we breathe

I know it's unusual here too, but obviously not unheard of.  I actually could SEE the air I breathed yesterday too, it was STEAMING!!!!  I don't have any of the more tender plants in yet, but my salad garden is up and growing.

Very nice Jerry, I'm so jealous of you guys that live in the sun. You'd think after over 20 years and being born here in the first place that I'd get used to the dang clouds and rain. Our tomatoes aren't planted yet either.

LeeAnne, I never had tomatoes before June, this is most unusual for me.  I would like to think I do things better these days.  maybe i do, God knows i have had some great advice on this forum.
We are picking tomatoes ans Zucchini daily, cukes too.
My early girls are prolific, but unusually small plants.  I think it's a different variety.

The great grass you gave us is drooping a bit.  I was at Lowe's and they have it massively planted in their parking lot, drooping there too.  i don't think it loves heat!
