Just returned from visiting my brother in columbus (Patalaska), and he has built a pond with a working water mill.. pretty cool looking.

No fishes or plants though. they swim in it and use the dye...... sure would love to see it with fishies, plants and etc

Awesome! Looks like a fun place to swim!
It REALLY would look great planted all natural like with fishies. Maybe later they can do that if they decide they don't want a swimmin hole after all.
won't it get full of algae and stuff? Do they use pool chemicals on it?

Thanks all.. He owns a big construction company so builds all kind of neat stuffy...

I am not sure about chemicals.. all he mentioned he added was the water color thingy. He did say he had some huge placs in their so I would imagine it couldnd be chemicals. He said the company that built the pond put something down on the bottom?? I wasnt really paying attention I was to busy trying to catch a bullfrog tadpole

El Jefe... I guess this means she will not be giving me the master bedroom suite for your pond party huh
