I think you got a pretty good deal for a potted plant with blooms. My earliest bloom from a cutting took about 3 years and it took several more years for the other leaves to grow out and produce more flowers.
Do you think it would survive being wintered indoors as a houseplant?
It should do quite well being wintered indoors since they usually are confined to a pot outdoors in a shaded (bright light) area.
Below is a photo of my Atlantis which was blooming during our garden tour and it has since finished flowering.
And here is one currently blooming. I thought it was called "Humdinger" but now I'm having second thoughts and it actually may be another yellow epi named "Going Bananas". Someone pulled the markers out during the garden tour to look at the names and they were careless and placed both markers in the same pot....... I won't know for certain for another few weeks when my other yellow epi blooms. The one that is the most yellow is "Going Bananas".....
