Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

Thanks Maryvonne & Mike.
Mike I agree I like the brugmansia look. the lights were outraeously expensive, but I had built up over $500 credit and the nursery was going under so what the heck !

Those are really cool.
Do you have any shots at dusk or dark so we can see them glowing in all of their glory?

Are those made by Stone Manor Lighting? I have tons of their garden lights including the green version of your luna moth - bought them some years ago from the designer/owner in Malibu. They're gorgeous, you'll love them and they'll last forever!

Not sure who makes them, but I got them from a Philly Flower show display that was outrageously marked up, however, they do seem sturdily built lights.

Stone Manor sells at the big garden shows - that's where I met the owner about 10 years ago. They're also now sold in a number of garden shops - they are expensive, but worth it. I looked for garden lights for a couple of years before I found these. When we left California and sold our house we made clear to the buyers that the lights were leaving with us! I've bought several more since, and am planning some new flowerbeds and a gazebo and will be calling them for even more lights. Their website is
www.stonemanorlighting.com
- take a look at some of the other goodies they've got.

Thanks for the website. I don't feel so bad anymore about what I paid based on their retail price, but I agree its a nice product!
