We had a rare bloom in this climate. Our first water hyacinth bloomed yesterday. I'm so excited I thought I would share the photo. It's quite a pretty flower.

Thanks! I hope I get more blooms on these plants. Unfortunately they don't last very long. I have been spending more time on my photography lately and quite enjoying it. Of course it's nice to have the garden to practice on.

The photograph is gorgeous. I am waiting for mine to bloom this year but so far, no signs of any popping up but the plants are healthy and spreading fast. I have given many away so far this season. Hope I see some as gorgeous as yours.

Thanks again every one. This one is finished now but I just noticed another one budding up today. They normally grow very well for me but never bloom so this is pretty exciting.
