This is my reply to your post under the pond section. I decided it should be here also.
Do not return them (donations). There's no reason why you and/or Sean should be covering the cost of this forum, especially with what you've both had to deal with the past couple of days. If members didn't want to show their appreciation by helping cover the expenses they wouldn't have done so.
I think this is the least we can do to support this forum. Heck....maybe there is something you guys can add to the website with the donations being sent in above what covers the actual expenses or maybe some other good ideas will strike someone.

Just an idea, Keep the money and send a tee shirt to the poster of the month for free.
If you are uncomfortable with taking money from people, this is a worthy way to use it. Or perhaps someone else has a better idea?
One that reduces your shirt inventory...
