But What Will Dish Soap Do To FISH??
« on: July 22, 2007, 07:26:52 PM »
In Bunny's thread about "A Lesson Learned" where diluted dish soap intended to kill bugs ended up ruining the leaves of lilies and lotuses... Several people had had the same experience.

But no one said anything about fish.

I'm wondering if you folks have fish in your lily ponds, and, if so, did the soap do anything to the fish?  And what if you use Neem Oil to kill bugs, and some of it gets into the pond - Would it hurt your fish?

Pam cooking spray..kills the bugs and in the water doesn't hurt the goldies.  Don't leave the cooking spray on the leaves to long.  I don't know if they burn or the leaves need the air, but I didn't wash it off once and the leaves suffered.
