I like all the different colors in your pond.  Your koi are beautiful and the melonhead shots are fun.  Do the koi also eat the seeds?

Annette I don't really know.  If they don't they sink as I don't see them at the surface

She is affectionately known here as Hoover..when she opens her mouth it all falls in..she vacuums the surface!!  Got her from Brady this spring.  She is probably 20" or better now.

Great shots Mary!

I haven't fed mine any yet this year, but with this heat we're having I should feed my fish some watermelon because I haven't been feeding them much.

With our cool nights my pond doesn't get very hot.  Even on days in the 90's it still cools down to mid 60's usually at night.  I have a trickle tower and air domes and both keep the water cooler as well.  Right now my pond is only about 70.  Warmest it got this summer was probably 76.  There is a lot of water volume to warm up though.

Those pictures are just AWESOME.  I had to hollar at my DH to come and look, so sharp and crisp.  The watermelon just made me giggle.  The first two pics I would love  o(:-) o(:-) to have framed hanging above my piano  o(:-)  or hung above my bed to go with my Koi quilt.  They're just remarkable

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.
