What a beautiful pond! What is the bright yellow green plant that is growing along the edge? I love the look.

The pond is into its 4th summer.... Yellow plant is Creeping Jenny (aurorae, or something like that) and I love it... There is another I've seen that is greener than this one.... It wants to spread toward the sun so plant it on the east or north side of your pond... It can get out of hand... It is evergreen and perennial in my neck of the woods, so its all year color.... Started with 3 very small 4 inch pots 3 years ago so you can see it is very prolific....
Take care.... Dave

I love the creeping jenny. I am planning on adding it on the far side of my pond, once I stop redoing the rocks and tearing up the landscaping.
But your pond...it is really, really beautiful.

Happy... I've got some red wave petunias planted in an old hollowed out stump that I filled with soil on the right hand side of the 2nd picture... The stump is in the water... and there are barerooted red impatiens in the waterfall on the left side of the picture.. The tall red stuff way in the back by the tree is Crocosmia (Lucifer).....
The tall purple plant in front of the pond is Bee Balm and the low purple are pansies that are still hanging on...
Thanks for the compliments everyone....
Kristin... I'm getting too old to do the "Crane" like you... but I'm in the pond every week it seems....
See ya..... Dave

Very nice
Love your bridge and your stepping stone pathway. I have a very tiny start of creeping jenny, guess I need to take better care of it. It really brightens up your pond!

Thanks Dave. Well I came over here to play with my daughter and granddaughter and guess what? I'm greeted with rain. Why am I not supprised!
I have a mix of Jenny (the greener one) Ajuga, and Vinka minor I'm letting take over my banks. I'm hopeing it will give it a nice mix of color? But I want more color down in and close to the pond. When I get home I'll show ya all my Lotus from Johns. It opned just befor I left and I got some good shots. I'm sooooo excited about her.

I love your pond too. I have been battling aphids for the last few weeks too and finally broke down and sprayed mine with Pam a couple days ago. They are aphid free and the fish are feasting on gourmet aphids in Pam. They seem to love it.
