I had a great time and did well, in all modesty. I even expanded my 2 lines to three!
Only the auful parking penalties were a damper. Yes, I am appealing. I have no chance. UCLA has it's own rules and Police. I worked free and have $72.00 in fines! I paid and am appealing.

The great thing about this business is the talented and confident people we meet.
I will attach a few photos.
I am a tad under 6 feet, so you can see the yong lady is a big girl!
The young man, BEN has got to be a star, lots of trainning, good looks and body to boot.
The lady below is Leigh Rose, the lead. She has been in many, many films. No spring chicken but you can see she was a great beauty at one time. Still darn good looking!

Great to hear you have a speaking roll to add to your resume, even though you did not get paid it looks great to casting directors.
Good luck with the parking appeal, I did the same just last week after going to the pharmacy and had a $53.00 ticket. The appeal was approved so I am off the hook.

Good to hear Sean. As you know UCLA is bigger than many cities. They have therir own rules as well as the LA city rules. In LA a Prius or similar hybrids need NOT put money in the meter! I am appealing that one too!

My line that I added was this: One old guy announces to the women we are trying to impress, :"These guys are geezers, I do 100 push ups a day" I chimed in with "My ass!"

Great to hear you're having fun in your new career!!

Parking in any university or college really sucks if you don't promise your first born for a parking pass!!

I've banked at UCI for 2 kids and I can tell you parking for 2 different drivers every year is more than what I pay for my mortgage, each!

I have seen Leigh Rose in many pictures she is a very beautiful and noteful woman. And as for the "fixed income" at the price of living in California your probably just squicking by on your income. LOL

Good luck with beating the ticket Jerry. I deserved getting two street sweeping tickets last week... I usually move the cars on sweeper mornings but I slept through because I was up so late the night before. I only got a warning placed on my windshield....not tickets. It should have cost me fifty bucks for both cars....

I guess waving and smiling at the Community Service Officer every sweeper day must have paid off.....

If the film you shot was associated with the UCLA film department perhaps the director would write a letter on your behalf indicating you were an unpaid volunteer...... However, don't show them the photo of you with long-legs otherwise they will say, "..unpaid my ass!"

Mike I read the small print. it does say we need to get a permit before using the 8.00 lot. I have no chance, other than my fake plea.
The director told me there were 4 of us cited that day!
In my appeal I named the grad students and the production in case they wanted to verify.

It really is the principal.

Barb, It is a long day, the work is easy, no heavy lifting! It can take 12 hours for an average day.
The Paris hilton thing was just under 8. a Lark!
Now I am a Doctor with no education!
