One of my favorite nurseries is having their annual Spring Equinox Plant Sale on March 14, 15 & 16 from 10AM to 4PM each day.  All plants are 20% off.  Buena Creek Gardens, San Marcos www.buenacreekgardens.com

We usually go on Friday but it depends on how I feel come Friday.  I came down with a cold yesterday  >:(  Should I feel better, and not be contagious, are you interested in car-pooling?  I'll warn you though; it has become an expected tradition of the fetching Mrs. Mikey to have lunch at the Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos following the buying spree....

Initially I proposed we visit the Huntington Botanical Gardens and check out the newly opened Chinese garden area but when I told her of the plant sale in San Marcos she immediately opted out for the plant sale  lol

Thanks for the offer Mike but I will be in Oceanside on Saturday during the morning (only I hope) and will try to make it over there then.  Would still like to get back to Gardena for the Koi show but still uncertain.

I can't wait to see the new Chinese Garden at Huntington Gardens, too.  Have to go before all the spring blossoms drop!  So many temptations, so little time!!!
