What is the best way to root the runners off of my taros?  A few of them have a number of runners with what lools like roots starting to grow.

Its best to wait until the new plant actually forms before you remove it from the mother.

Then when it forms its own roots I just cut it off near the mother plant right?  Thanks for the help.

they really don't require alot of roots....once cut from the mother plant just pot them in good soil and keep it moist...they usually go thru some shock...but, then start putting up new leaves in no time....so even if the leaves and stalks shrivel don't give up....
