question for those with lotus tubs... lawanna.....

just a couple more weeks and I will be cleaning out my lotus pond and tubs.  I know the recommendation for deviding is to dump it over to turn it out on the ground  but mine are in ground.  Is there a good way to do this other than to just try as carefully as you can to rummage through the muck to find them   The thought of using my fingers as rakes in these smelly tubs is not to appealing...

Tink can you pull them out onto the ground by pulling on the liner? if so I would do that and then hose off the mud with a water hose....or if you have help try grabbing a big handful of tubers and just pull them out onto the ground....You shouldn't hurt to many viable tubers that way--if any....

Hey tink , I do what Lawanna said......I put glove's on ...cause ewww it's a mess down there  ...
I pull them out . Rinse off with water & cut away.......ooooh the fun of playing in the mud again...
