Prayer's for Pasty..
« on: March 05, 2008, 07:06:13 AM »
Pasty is Christy's mom . She's under the knife this morning at 9:00 .
She has a large mass the size of a grapefruit around her kindney's .

I wanted to post this yesterday but my phone line was down & I couldn't
get online .

Please keep her in you're prayer's & thought's.

Thank you !

Christy glad to hear that things went well.  The way you talk about your Mom, she is a go getter so she should be back to normal in no time!

Sounds like they had to do the surgery 'the old fashioned way' instead of Laproscopy?

Are they thinking this is kidney cancer or another type of cancer which just moved onto the kidney?

Prayers,
Bonnie

I have a coworker/good friend whose husband had a mass and no dr./hosp. up here wanted to touch it.  I'm pretty sure that is the hospital in OH they went down to.  This was a couple years ago and he is doing great, hoping for the same outcome for your mom.

University is a very good hospital so I'm sure she's being taken good care of.

Sounds like your typical kidney cancer which my Mom had so hopefully she won't have to go thru any chemo or radiation but that varies by Dr.

Just read this post.  Sorry to hear about your mom's crisis.  With you and your family's support and support good friends she will find the strength to battle anything.  Let her know there are even strangers online praying for her fast recovery.  I'm sure that will make her laugh.

Be strong!

Annette, I told Mom what you said and she did laugh, she said to tell you Thank You. She got home yesterday, and the ride from Cincinnati made her sore than what she was.

Thanks
Christy

Krista, the surgery was suppost of been 8hrs,and they were done in 7hrs,so i think she did really good, for a surgery that long. Now if she would just sit down, she has allready made her rounds to the cattle barn.

Thanks
Christy
