Ken's website
« on: April 03, 2008, 08:58:01 AM »
My stepson Ken, Cindi's brother, has been building birdhouses, bathouses, butterfly houses, and bird and squirrel feeders. He is an artist and began putting woodburned designs on the stuff. Here's a link to his website. We've been having trouble uploading more pictures but you can get an idea from what is there. If you are looking at one side of the item, there's probably another picture on the other side.  He has spent hours learning to woodburn. http://thegreatoutdoors.webs.com/

I especially like the butterfly house .

Good luck to him, has he tried ebay?

I've got a love/hate relationship with ebay.. fees are high but many people visit the site.

No Ebay. They don't have computer and shipping that stuff probably would be terrible because it is heavy. He's going to hit some sales this summer and I have made up business cards and brochures with pictures on to give out. He had some to sell on consignment at Birds Unlimited or some bird store. But they wanted to double what he wanted for the price so jacked it up so much, nothing sold. He's very talented in the way of drawing and making things from scratch without a pattern.
