Any golfers out there?

Today my tee time was 1/2 hour before Tigers. ;D

I should mention that he is good and I suck!
But I do have a lot of fun ;D

My co-workers have been trying to groom me into a golfer for company outings. What I do kinda resembles golf at times. Words such as hack and Happy Gilmore have been used to describe my style and technique.  >:(-
Not too long ago we were throwing a Gatoraide bottle into a tree to retrieve a misplaced club. ;)
I am improving though. No more throwing clubs and much less cursing. ;D

My brother and his wife love to golf.  My neighbor loves to golf.  One of my foster brothers loves to golf.  Tiger Woods was raised here in Cypress.  Jim Nantz is my cousin.  There are golf courses all over the place.  And yet I have never played a game of golf.....

Does Miniature golf count?

Actually, I have a famous golfer story too!  When DH and I were much younger, we went for his college reunion in St. Andrews Scotland.  (Yes, he did go to college there.)  While there, we got to watch Sean Connery playing on the Old Course.  I gotta say that man is even sexier in person than on the screen!

My family are all avid golfers. A couple of years ago, mum and brother won the Male and Femal Champs respectivly, got their pic in the newspaper. Brother holds the Club record, has done for the last few years.

Me? I love a game too, but I'm just an old 'hacker'. Lots of gin shots in my game, can't seem to keep my head down.

We usually have a family game on Christmas Day once the girls go off to their father's.
