That's the best kind, instant pond no digging.  Looks like a good spot to put one.

Kim

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.

Lawanna's 1st post and Kim's are right on the money.  In your case what's a few dozen ponds anyhow.  You definitely have acres to spare.  (8:-)

I think that was a pond year's ago . Then my DH's dad  did some digging & rerouted the
spring that kept it full . ::)

Bonnie just hope that doesn't happen when they dig the basement for your new home! :(

Hopefully the all the rain we are getting will be all over by then .

No Lawanna , not a basement pond !  {nono}..... :)

bunny56lbc, I'll take any size that my hubby will tolerate.  ;) He's got a silly radio collection that doesn't really "go" with ponds.  :(

You really have cow ponds? And real cows?  o(:-) Very cool! I recently bought half a cow from a farmer that I met at a farmer's market, and I can honestly say it's the best beef I've ever had. And a good Karma cow, too. From a real farm.  :)

Karen ,
There's nothing that's any better for eating than home grown grain fed beef .
We had a herd of black angus but had to sell them last fall because of the drought .
We also have dairy cow's , we sold the angus so we'd have enough corn & hay for the
dairy cow's  over the winter.

It's amazing! We really love it. Our farmer raised the beef on pasture (mostly grass fed), then finished it on grain. At least I think he did. I'll have to ask him.
The flavor is amazing. I could live on that and nothing else.
