I haven't put any fish in the pond. But it has fish. There are minners, perch, and giant bullfrog tadpoles, among the usual dragonfly larvae and other things that come to water.
Around here, you can dry out a hole, and two weeks after you put in water, there will be a minner. I think the birds bring them in.
Because of the birds, its not safe for the goldies. And its too shallow for koi.
I'll take more photos later. There are three main viewpoints I was interested in. Now I need a long weekend and some slave labor.
Maybe I'll clean up a little too. I've been weeding in the pond all winter, and there are piles of drying water weeds on all the banks.
