An all star in baseball! I am sure size will help!  A college scholarship maybe?
Last thanksgiving he was as tall as his dad, by christmas as tall as me and now has past us all at 14!  His Dad on the right.

Wow, he has grown a lot. Will he be starting college in the fall? Hope he does well preparing for his future.

He is only 14, so need to finish high school first.  He is being tutored by a pro coach.

Charming portrait.  If your grandson is 14 then he only has about 4 or 5 years to reach 7 feet!!  :D :o ;D

6' 4  or 6' 6"  will be fine.  His shoes are size 12s!
this was 7 months ago. Not as tall as  me or his  dad...yet  o(:-)

He is a light eater LuAnn, amazingly.  We had three kinds of desserts including a chocolate cake my daughter made.  Jake does not care for sweets!  I need his genes!

Know how to tell a boy chromosome from a girl chromosome?  Easy, pull down it's genes! lol

 :o   8)  It's great he's not nuts about sweets, I'm really not either, BUT I would've gone for the chocolate cake...chocolate is not a sweet, it's a food group... :D

I love sweets.  Ben & Jerry's now have a Yogurt I can't tell from ice cream! o(:-)

Amazing how fast they grow. My son is only 9yrs old....and he grew 2" in a month.

His Dad and I played basketball forever. I dearly want Jake to get into it, but his step dad, a good one too, is the coach in baseball and football.  he is excellent with ALL the kids.
I played basketball before the NBA ! Our local semi pro team called the "Spha's"  were owned by Eddie Gottleib. he founded the Phila Warriors, one of the first NBA teams.
We played at dances at the Broadwood hotel.  Everyone shot with 2 hands!  I changed when I came to California.
This is me in 1981.  Do you know the older man?  he is 96 now and doing well.  He is still the mentor to many
