Nice looking fish!
I'm broke and can't afford to pay attention, so you might have to lend me an ear.

Looks like your piggies could use a few extra laps around the pool.  You're spoiling them with such clear water!

2-25% water changes keeps it that way. :)

I reall like the tancho in the picture do you add anything to the water like virasure or virkon or is it purely your water changes that keep the water sparkling what filtration system do you have on the pond?

They are anywhere from 8" to 31" on the average I would say 22".

All I add is baking soda for KH and  Calcium Carbonate for GH. I have a Nexus/Answer from bottom drains that is returned to the pond. I have a Savio skimmer to pump to bead filter to Savio waterfall filter to pond.

thats why the water looks great good piece of kit the nexus and answer but have you thought about converting it to take the Eazy for mechanical filtration cheaper to run and easy to keep clean ..

No I don't want to down grade my Nexus. The Answer cleans its self.

The easy is standard equipment now on the Nexus. It replaced the big blue piece of filter media. The Answer beats the easy hands down. To clean the Nexus you just empty the vortex chamber and that's it. If you have a problem with string algae there's no problem for the Answer. If I leave town for a week or two that's no problem for the Answer. Power consumton is the only problem. It's like having 3-100watt lightbulbs runing 24/7 and I can live with that.

I thought the answer was the first bit of kit brought out to fit onto a vortex befroe the nexus was designed they then brought out the nexus and foam then brought out the eazy to replace both I suppose you get the added extra bio filtration with the eazy

so what do you reckon of the EA POD all that is is an eazy with  no fluidised at all ..

I'm not to familiar with the easy pod. I think it would be good for a inside qt.
It is recommend to flush it 2-3 times per cleaning. Bummer! I like low maintenance.

I just purchased the Easy Pod for my 700 gallon Q-tank. I'll let you know what I think about it after I run it for a while.
