Smallest Dragonfly in the U.S.

I might have seen this guy at my pond today. He was so small, I had a hard time to be sure he really WAS a dragonfly / damselfly.

Thank GOODNESS I got rid of the salt in my water - already I've seen two dragonflies, and I think the fresher water is more attractive to them than the salted water I had last year.

Its as cute as a bug....no, just kidding.  Dragonflies are my favorite thing about ponds, next to the fish and lilies...I have all kinds of things with dragonflies on them.

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.

That's fantastic. i love dragonflies. Some of them have the most incredible colours they look great around a pond. The larva will eat fish fry, but its a small price to pay for a flying jewel. Besides they also eat mosquitoes.
