Darlin! :)

Tragically, it seems I was unavoidably detained... abducted even... by the Swedish Bikini Team. Spent six months playing "Cabana Boy" on a tropical island and rubbing sunblock... (never-you-mind).   Recovery took weeks. I'm just now back to walking again. :)

And of course, I figured if ya'll let **Blammo** in, I'd likely get a free pass from the Admissions Committee. LMAO!

You gotta remember, Roark is the anti-greenie... the part of gardening he likes is cutting the grass, torturing the bonsai, whacking the weeds.  @O@

So, we have a mediation in Montrose today.
Montrose is the area of Houston where there are fabulous old Victorian homes, it went from old folks to druggies, to gays, and now has been discovered by the doctors. Its close to the medical centers and downtown, very fashionable, very posh, and where the beautiful people are.  {:-P;;
We go to the mediation early, so we can find the place... and down the street is a neighborhood bar. Instead of floundering around, driving and getting lost - there are all these confusing one way street signs... we decide to eat at the neighborhood bar.
Its very clean, and has a great fish taco. The TV in the restaurant is on the news. The TV in the bar is on some reality show where a very weird man is interviewing potential love interests by having them wear bikinis, bounce on a trampoline, and playing back the video in slow motion.
Roark, of course, is entranced by the bouncing boobies... (sigh)

On the way OUT, after hanging around for almost two hours (we were early), chatting with the client, discussing sports and world politics,  we realized that there were "she" tables, and "he" tables, and we had the only mixed gender table in the place.  :o

Oh my word! :o ::) lol

Good to see both of you here.
We have a town called Montrose about 65 miles south of here, but its a pretty normal ranching community. :)

Hey Cindy!  o(:-)
Roark is an occasional poster - but this is mostly a gardening site - and you know how he is about green things. :)
