Everything is so pretty.  I'm really missing my petunias and vinca this summer.

I planted my Caladiums late...and the hail really ripped them up last night.

Brilliant colors!!  Which ones are Dragon Wings?  I recognize vincas, and Petunias.  I've grown caladium for the first time this year and I love it.  I have the greens and red varieties.

Picture #8 is the Dragon Wing begonia.  I bought it at Lowes on clearance for only $4--huge pot of it in perfect health that was originally marked $25.  I'm hoping I can keep it alive this winter inside.

As for the caladiums, this is the first time I planted them from prepacked bulbs.  I guess I picked out the ones that grow huge  ;)

Great deal on the DW begonias.  I bought my caladiums at Costco = lifetime supply for the reduced price of $4.99!  They're growing really nicely under all my fruit trees where they get shade and moisture.
