First lotus bloom of the season (Hey Lawanna!)

At least the first time it was blooming on a weekend when I could get a photo. This is a Momo Botan that I got from Lawanna this spring. It's in a little bowl pot on my patio. There are more buds, woohoo! Look how tiny the bloom is!

Thank you, ladies! I checked this morning, and it does not have a fragrance. Do any lotus really have a fragrance?

Jessica--not too sure about the small guys---but, yes my big ones do and when I get them all blooming at once---I can smell the fragrance in the air...if you only have one or two blooms though---you can only smell them if you stick your nose up to the bloom---at times I'll have around 15 or so blooms open and the fragrance is heavenly.

Jessica, your Momo Botan is a real cutie. I traded for one on the old forum with Warren, but I lost it due to over fertilization. I loved it to death... :'(

That is very pretty.  My unknowns both have the same smell.. its a oddo smell to me but smells good.
