Reaching for the sun

Now that the sun is getting lower, my pond is beginning to receive filtered sunlight due to some tall tropical plants on the south side of the pond.  The tropicals are no longer completely upright and are now starting to lean as they reach for the sun…..  As you can see I’ve neglected the pond this season and the azolla has taken over along with co-conspirators of creeping jenny and parrot’s feather……

That's a gorgeous photo Mikey...very well done! O0
And the subject matter...beautiful! :)

It looks natural that why I like it so much, not obviously touched up, not a glamour shot.
Just aim and shoot and WYSIWYG. 8)
And I absolutely love it when there's a little azolla or duckweed along with the lily pads.
Keeps things in perspective! (8:-)

I like seeing that azola in your pond. I managed to keep my pond plants to a minimum this year, but I think that I will try some of that azola next year.
