Please help Identifying hardy white lily
« on: July 02, 2008, 10:02:15 AM »
I had my pond over run with pennywort last year, so this spring I took everything out and started from scratch.  I broke off some pieces of a hardy tuber that I was sure I wouldn't get any of the pennywort root system.  Anyway, I thought it was Colorado, but alas it is a white hardy instead.  I thought I broke off two pieces of the same tuber, but when they grew up, they look totally different in both bloom and leaf.  Lily 1 blooms have fewer petals than Lily 2, and Lily 2 leaves come full circle, while lily 1 leaves do not.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Brian
