The President is just beautiful. Don't think I've ever seen such a deep color like that on a Lotus. I love it!

Bonnie, you are soooooo lucky, they are gorgous.  I think 2 of mine are tost, the two in the pond are struggling weather is wierd and the Green Maiden I got from someone very nice {:-P;; has the beginnigs of a bud finaly.....may be the only one that blooms this year.

Beautiful pics, I am giving up on Lotus. I have bought the president twice now and still dont have one. I bought it and russian red again this year and both never broke dormancy long enough to root.

Such a beautiful dark rich color... 8-)~

I'm trying one last time with lotus this year...we're too dry apparently.  After we got 6" rain over 2 week period...I have more leaves than I've ever had...still no aerials though.  I'll leave them in over the winter and see if anything happens next spring though.
