These are ornamental Gourds.. A few Zucchini are stricken too.

I think it's the weather.  I don't know if it's the same where you are Jerry but our June was hot and we didn't get our normal June-Gloom until late July and we are still getting it now.  I'm getting the same mildew on my zinnias, which I normally don't get, thus I'm guessing the extra humidity is the cause....  As I recall you use drip irrigation so spray shouldn't be the cause.

I think Mike is right about the weather being the cause of the mildew problem.  We also had overcast and foggy mornings in the past couple of weeks ( I like) but hopefully a little more sun helps your plants.

My tomatoes are growing and ripening like gangbusters and we are cooking up all kinds of tomato dishes.

Squash always get powdery mildew here. I just ignore it and don't spray.

Beginning at first leaf foliage, begin spraying weekly with Daconil weekly and your fungus problems will be history.
