Very pretty as usual.    @O@ o(:-) @O@

My pink and Mayla open up very early in the morning.  The Colorado in more shade opens up later in the day.  I like having different ones open at different time of the day...now I just need some nightbloomers.  I'll put them in a tank near the swing.   8-)~

Hello Kat,

Only nine Ponds? Whups TEN ponds.  Or are there any in the front yard? You have almost pond space as American Aquatic Gardens in New Orleans. My wife said enough after 4 ponds, a clawfoot tub, a kidde pond, 20 planters with lilies in them and two wall paper wetting trays for starters. Just how many tropical lilies do you have? Nice yard!

Probably 30 total containers of water but 1/2 of them are the smaller type.  I usually will have around 100 different named lilies--hardies, nightbloomers, & tropicals.  This is my spring/summer hobby & it definitely can keep me busy between selling/dividing/pictures/posting on forum/etc..  :)  During the winter I will empty some of the smaller ones & put plastic film over some of the wood ones to create coldframes to help keep the water warmer.

Kat, do you keep the alligators in the ponds for decoration, or to scare predators?

The gators were bought to keep herons away plus the 2 grey ones are cute.  They are about 3 seasons old now & probably could use a coat of sealant.  I'd like to get a couple more as they have new styles but too cheap to spend the money right now.
