More Banana Pix!
« on: August 10, 2008, 10:40:10 AM »
I grew the Musa sikkimensis from seed, and the M. Basjoo is a pup I dug from our old house.
Original plant from Craig Presnell. 8)
Sikkimensis on left, Basjoo on right. Planted on the embankment that is our entire property grade.

Looking up the embankment.

Sikkimensis...

Basjoo...

Both are hardy here, planted in the ground. Basjoo has come up for 5 years for me now. 8)
Peace to all  ... Joyce
