My little pond visitor
« on: August 12, 2008, 03:43:06 PM »
This is my little great nephew, sister and my dh.

Family was out for my daughters b-day party Sunday.  Jaden was completly amazed.  He kept saying fish, big fish.  If you could just see the expression on his face when he says Fish, the way he does his lips, its so funny and cute.  Same with Orange, wrinkles up his nose then says it.

He would touch the water, but when the fish came he would get back quick. At first I couldn't even get him close to it.  Never did touch a fish.

It was late afternoon, and the pond looks green although its clear.  Seems like in the late afternoon, it gets that cast.  Then when the sun gets past it, its clear again.

A pic of my daughter on her day.  Really her birthday is today Aug 12th.  Where have the years gone.

I threw in a few other pics from that day too.

The one pond is so over grown with WH, I keep pulling them out and they just double.  Can't hardly tell there is even a pond.

Thanks for the compliments.

Great looking family Kim!  I love looking at other people's yards and ponds--your fish look big and healthy too! ;)

Great pics of your family.  Your little nephew is so cute watching those fishies.
Beautiful pic of your daughter.  A professional photographer couldn't have done a better job.  She is adorable.

Awww, it's nice you are helping teach your grand nephew to appreciate nature.

Your daughter is going to be a guy magnet if you're not careful. Next year, a teenager. Oh my.

Esther, she just turned 11 today on the 12th.  Still have 2 more years before 13.  Although she tries to act like she's 18...lol.  I call her Sassy Kassi all the time.  Makes her so mad.  She'll say my name is Kassidy, not Kassi.

What a cute nephew! I love watching the young ones look at fish, they are so adorable at that age.

Oh, how cute is that little guy,  Your pond/ponds are just beautiful and lush.  Daughter is lovely girl, and I  know just what your going through with that age, LOL, I have my 11 going on 12 year old great grand daughter that we adopted, this is such a fun age for them.  Although, clean bedroom hasn't been at the top of mine's list.  LOL

Everyone seemed to have a good time.  Jaden didn't want to leave, but he was so wore out.  The day went great.  First time ever, I've had a cookout or Birthday party, that it was burning up hot & humid that you couldn't stand it or pouring down rain.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day.
