Joyce,
Your lotus 'farm' is beautiful. It's said they can be invasive but I'm sure that's the effect you were looking for in you natural? pond.

Julles - not exactly the way I remember 'Nam'   lol

Already at 60?  Wow.  Short summer?  Your flowers are going strong.

Joyce Your Lotus are beautiful as ever. Your pictures seem really clear. I was wondering what kind of camera you are using? Or if you did any thing different when taking these pictures? Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks everyone!

Yep, wanted this to be a native looking lotus pond.

Landey, just having a cool spell along with most of the country right now.
Has to do with that Fay blowing things around.
In the 80s now.

Yup, it's a bullfrog.

MCP, I shot these with my daughters Nikon CoolPix.

I hate using the Nikon D200 near water, or while I am wading.
Just too much of a risk slipping and sliding on the liner and mud. 8)

Smart to not use your good camera around the pond. I wonder how many people have dropped theirs in.

I think most cameras have a strap. I have developed the habit of slipping the strap over my wrist every time I am going to use it.

My stepson just had his cell phone fall in the water and ruined it.

I've got a brand new camera!!!!  My old Nikon Coolpix got hit by a surf wave while fishing last November.
It never powered back up, oh well.

Finally bought a new Canon G9 recently,  I love it more than the old Coolpix. It's much more user friendly.  Takes great macros down to .39 inches.  And it takes good videos too.
