hi everyone! i am so happy to have found this great ponding forum (although it has already cost me $$, super thanks to kat for a lovely pkg) had a preformed pond for years and when it finally wouldnt take mending anymore, my husband and i built a liner pond with skimmer and biofalls. we made plenty of mistakes (of course the Big one? its not big enough) some of my goldfish are 15yrs old.
also have a large perennial garden with emphasis on hostas. until i stumbled into this forum, it never occurred to me to also collect water lilys. i am soo into trouble. and you guys sell them reasonably! i went to a twin cities (minnesota) pond nursery 2 weeks ago and spent $40 for one 'texas dawn' water lily! now that i've found am ponders, wont have to make that mistake again. it almost goes without saying that i am already planning a raised water lily pond next spring (dh has no knowledge of this, will let him enjoy ignorance) just got my 3 lilys from kat planted, now on to the hostas still in pots. here in minnesota, our season is winding down but lilys are still blooming in the pond (tried to add pics here but it didnt work-duh)
