Thanks Lawanna

I wasn't sure what the stuff was that came with the lily. I at first thought some kind of algae but discarded that idea real quick but I figured it must be something that liked water. Anyhow, I tossed it into the water container garden up front & forgot about it. I later found out it was a water plant of some sort & that it was called bladderwort .... either by a conversation between you & someone else or a search or a combination of both (probably this one).

Well, it has a flower. Glad I didn't throw it away. LOL

The lily is also getting ready to bloom. It has one bud breaking water surface & 2 more coming up.

Do koi like to eat it?

Once I found out what it was I put a little in the pond & now I can't find it.

I also had a piece of azolla  @O@ I was so excited about, so to try to save it I also put it in the container up front & can't find it now .... it's lost.  :(

I hope it didn't get tossed out with some string algae I pulled out.
