Anyone interested in hornwort?
« on: October 20, 2008, 08:07:02 PM »
I'm doing some maintenance to the ponds and have a large excess of hornwort. Is anyone needing any for their overwintering needs? I could fill about half of a Priority Mail o-box 7 (12" x 12" x 8") and ship it for $10. Its likely that the hornwort will include small amounts of anacharis and duckweed but I'd rather not toss the plants. Also, I'll like to do this soon so only PayPal or Google Checkout for sending shipping funds.

thanks.

I am interested in trying to grow (more like keep alive) some hornwort, I haven't tried that one yet.  This will be my first overwintering, but I am in Florida like you so I am thinking that that means I really don't have to do anything right?  Can I expect it to still be alive come next spring if I just leave it outside in my shallow pool?
My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!
