Ernie loves...

...Gigi!   Well, they're sleeping together, sort of, on my lap while we were watching TAPS.
Ernie was purring so loud and using Gigi as a pillow.
Gigi had to have felt and heard the purring.  
Hard to take pix with one hand while cradling a kitten in the other,
slouched into the couch in front of the roaring fire.
Couldn't see the view finder...

Awwww. Maybe this is a good sign that Gigi will let Ernie be friends.

oh, that's really cute.  Ernie is getting big.  He looks bigger than the first pics.  I think dogs like cats sometimes but don't always want to admit it.

They are adorable, and they both have beautiful shiny coats.

I wanted to say congrats on the new cat, looks exactly like my old one. But then I thought I should find a picture of my old one. So I found a picture of my old cat when she was about Ernie's age, but it's a tiny little pic in a tiny little frame... ahhh forget it. You've got a live one on your lap to look at. 

There is a stray cat running around here who looks a little like Ernie. Very elusive. I may try feeding it.
