Lotus in for the winter
« on: October 27, 2008, 08:34:29 PM »
Well I finally got the lotus in for the winter this weekend.  Two are in whiskey barrells and one in another large planter.  I drain out all the water I can and then haul them in the basement.  Well DH helped me put them down for the 2nd year in a row now........"to much work" he said, "Never again, next year we put in a lotus pond" Sooooooooo, now all I have to do is figure out where and how big?  Anyone have any ideas? Comments? or How to go about it, so I do it right the first time instructions.  I have all winter to think and plan, thought that was enough when I did the lily pond last year and now that that is done, there is plenty I'd do different, but it will have to do.
