Some pics of our weather

this afternoon...which is nothing like Mike W's (or anyone else's in California) today!!  Nothing stuck for long of course, the ground is still too warm, yesterday it was 60*, last week 75*!!     Life in Ohio at just about any time of the year..

I was sooooo envious of MikeW's pics with all the greenery and his cat Fiona laying belly-up in her chair 

It was snowing at one point so hard, I could hardly see across the road, it had let up a bit when I snapped these..ENJOY

Yes, that first pic is just beautiful.  Almost looks like a painting.  Thanks for sharing the pics, just please don't send that stuff our way.

Yup, my cat would probably not be snozzing belly up in your garden.

Yup, we came out of church about 10:45 this morning to see that exact same sight. But it didn't stick on the ground. It's on the evergreens though.

Sorry about your nasty weather, but I love that first picture

Every year we use a winter themed picture for our Christmas card.  That one would be perfect.

Thanks everyone...yes, that first photo to me looks so lonely...no little granddaughters climbing up in it for a swing, or running around the yard screaming for me to tickle them, or running away from the kittens as the kittens dart up the trees.  We played inside yesterday, they both have sniffles and it was just too cold for them even tho' they were clamboring to play in it while they watched from the windows

Yesterday it was 72 degrees (20 above normal) - this morning it was sleeting.    :'(

Yeah Reedman I hear your pain...   30 degree temperature changes are so normal anymore, doesn't give the body time to adjust does it?!!

This morning I woke up to everything white, it's really beautiful.  No wind, just really quiet (snow acts like a sound insulator for those of you who have never had any) and the only thing you can really hear are the muffled voices of little birds

Wish I had my camera with me today. Looking out my window here at work, the village that I live in, is across a plowed field. It has been snowing so hard for the last 15 minutes that I can't see a house.

I'm sure it won't do more that make the ground white, but none the less, it's here.

LuAnn, on your fabulous photo, photoshop a nice red bow on top of the tire!  Then add sparkles on the photo for a Christmas/Holiday card.  Oooo, the imagination juices are actually flowing again.    Must be that time of year!

Thanks Annette,,,that's a great idea.  I hadn't even thought about Christmas cards yet, but I might just do it.  I'm gonna have to get moving on it though aren't I?!

I think pictures like that should be banned, but then that is the awful truth living here in the north.  We have not had to much yet, but it is cold.

I kind of like those pictures.  That's the only place I will or want to see snow, in Christmas cards and calendars.
