Mac Networking with PC's
« on: February 04, 2009, 08:44:44 PM »
We have two PCs and a laptop all networked for sharing files, music, printers etc.  If I got rid of my pc and replaced it with a Mac, would I loose all the networking abilities?

Mikey, not at all. I carry my old powerbook G4 to work with me everyday, I network with all of our work computers/printers/files/music etc. . Just use bonjour for windows to set up your local networking. Also, your mobileme will sync all of your contacts/calendars/email with outlook seamlessly. Here is a link for some more bonjour and mobileme info:

Shoot me an email if you run into any issues...

Thanks Greg.  I'm not ready to eat the Apple yet because this pc is still doing well, especially after upgrading the memory, however, when it's time to go I am seriously thinking about getting a Mac.  Friends that have them really like them.  When I say "crash" I think of a pc.  When you say "crash" to my Mac friends they think of a traffic collision....   {:-P;; ;)
