Much better site for watching eagle nest babies
« on: May 03, 2009, 11:35:10 AM »
Ok this is a better site to watch some cute little baby eagles that hatched just a week or so ago. It's a live cam so you can check in on them each day and watch them grow. Just thought you might like to see.

Someone had better look at this! I find it fascinating! I will check back every day. Maybe twice or thrice!
I saw mama eagle, I am thrilled.

Thanks for posting this.  My old links for nest cameras have fizzled through the years and I hadn't found one yet this spring to watch.  Haven't seen Mom or Dad yet,  but I'll be watching.

Wow I've been checking in a lot. It is raining on one of them. Mom is protecting her babies. I can see the rain rolling off her back. Awesome creatures. Good Mamas. Does daddy help after the eggs are hatched?

Yes daddy does equal care for babies. They take turn hunting, feeding, covering and guarding. Supposedly the mom is the bigger one but I can't really tell them apart. I check in every day several times a day also. If you click on the forum you can learn a lot from just reading the daily chats.

If you look right this very minute, one of the parents is feeding the babies!  This is great!

If you look down below where it says other sites you can click and see three older chicks at the Sydney site. I have been watching them since they were teensy and wow they grow fast!
