I would love these.... do you think this is something a newbie to tropicals could try her hand at, or should I get a bigger plant?

As my posting suggested, unless you live in a warmer zone or have a heated/greenhouse pond, you should probably pass on them.  I'll have bigger tropicals later in the season & be priced accordingly.  Thanks.

Kat I only want an Albert Greenburg.  I asked about the ones on Koiphen and if I can get an Albert with that I'd be thrilled!!  Yup have a greenhouse and I hope our cold is finally gone...

For you people in cooler zones. You can take a tub and put a aquarium heater in it, and I place an old window over mine. This makes like a mini greenhouse to jump start your tropical lilies. It  helps with those 50*F cool nights here in zone 6. Works for me. Then when my water temp stays at least at 70*F I can put them in the ponds.
