Mystery Hardy. Can you name this?
« on: June 01, 2009, 10:00:17 AM »
This is a Hardy I purchased last year that I've lost the tag to. It was late in the year and never had a bloom. I thought it had died at the end of the year and so I was totally surprised to see it trying to grow. Its growing well now but there is no bud yet.

Possible identifying properties; it is a small-medium size Hardy with new pads very maroon mottled, and greening up as they get larger. And the pad does not do a nice split at the end, the edges are slightly rounded and overlap.

Thanks very much!

Its pretty much impossible to tell without seeing a flower. Even then, if you've lost the tag its best to consider it unnamed. ;)
