He has been lurking around here for a while and when looking at the DIY stuff, realized he lived near me. He emailed me and gave me his phone number and had some questions about the homemade pond vac. So I called him. We talked for I bet an hour. Somehow us ponders seem to have a lot in common. LOL. I told him to join the bunch, make comments, ask questions and post pictures. Welcome George.

Esther you really do meet the nicest people thru ponding forums...I met a guy last year thru KB and we are best friends now.. We talk on the phone 2-7 times a day..Its really odd when we go to their house to visit..Me and him run off to the pond and talk ponds while my husband and his wife sit on the deck and talk....I also have several other friends I've met thru ponding forums I talk to regularly on the phone....not sure how other forum communities are but, I've noticed that the ponding community is really tight nit....
