too late in season to repot a lotus?
« on: June 27, 2009, 06:33:29 AM »
Was wondering if it was too late in the season to repot a lotus?  My Red Scarf hasn't bloomed since I got it last year and the leaves are kinda sparce.  Last year I overfertilized it with pond tabs.  I now know about Osmocote.  Is it too late to repot at this point due to the temperatures here in central Florida?

My next female cat will be called "Whata Lily"!

I wasn't happy with how I potted one of my lotus earlier in the season.  Worked it out of it's pot undisturbed including the dirt & placed the plant/dirt in the new pot without any issues.

There is never enough room for all of the water lilies that I want ;-)
