Jealous, My lotus with many large aerial pads.  However, no bud?

How much sunlight for this lotus pot?

LOL... lol

It gets sun from sunrise to sunset...it's in the middle of my driveway...see the gravel?
No trees, nothing to shade it.

It was planted in April, in my own compost mix with at least 1/2 cup of Osmocote in the bottom.

Remember: We've had an unusually cold spring and summer, 24 days of rain out of 30.
Just this past week we have warmed up...a bit. and have had more than 2 days in a row of sun. :)

Lotus don't make buds unless they're getting enough sun.  :-)~

Mine is getting full sun also...hot dry sun...maybe there is hope for a bud at least since it is putting on leaves still.
