Big Dog!

Saw this dog while yardsaling last weekend...took this with my cellphone...it's an Irish Wolfhound.
Look at the size of the door, compared to him. That's a regular sized front door.

They are very big dogs. A woman at the dog park we take Ginger to has two of them. They are huge mild mannered dogs and barely fit in her car.

When I was a little kid the people across the street had one of these huge dogs and we used to try and ride him like a horse..........course he didn't go for that but he loved the attention.....he was a very good dog  :)

They are HUUUUGE dogs! I did a home check for Best Friends this spring and the people had one of them. I had never seen one in person and I couldn't believe how big it was. Very sweet dog though. When I sat down on the couch he walked up to me and was pretty much eye level with me. BIG dog. LOL!

we had a neighbor that had one and they had up a 6 ft fence for theirs.  ITs like looking at gaints when you see them.

This dog could easily jump a 6' fence!  :o
But it was behind a 4' white picket fence and was just accepting all the attention it could get.  o(:-)

Mike, I was going to Yardsales...aka tag sales...garage sales.
This was actually an estate sale and it was so packed with city-its we left.
The prices were marked for city-its too.  ::)

On the walk back to the car, the dog was gone. Dog-gone-it!  ;)
