New pond completed...
« on: July 13, 2009, 09:34:50 PM »
We finished our latest pond approximately 6 weeks ago so we figured it was about time to post some pics for our friends here at American Ponders.  We will take additional photos soon.  Details and construction photos are available our our site.  Thanks for looking...;)

Wow!  Forgoing a yard for a pond - GREAT decision!!  As they say, make it as big as you possibly can, 'cause you're always going to want a bigger one someday.  Looks like you started with HUGE.

Is that a preform or a liner?  It's so smooth, it looks like a preform, but I've never seen one so big.

Your kid's darned cute!

It's actually a gunite pond lined with black Pond Shield Pond Armor.  Approximately 20' x 10' free form with maximum depth of 6'.

Our youngest was playing around with our digital camera one day so we figured she's made a nice Avatar for us.  She's doesn't seem to mind... ;)

We second that emotion!  Our backyard isn't very large, but we've managed to build four ponds, two sale tanks, one above-ground pool, a jacuzzi, gazebo and yet somehow it doesn't seem crowded...
